RAFFLE
There will be multiple raffles drawn throughout the course of the social event.
Professionals and students are allowed to participate in the raffle.
You must participate in the Bags Tournament to receive raffle tickets.

Raffle Prizes will include gift cards and SWAG items provided by the event sponsors.
The final Raffle will be called out at the end of the night and will be a $150 gift card. 

BAGS TOURNAMENT
Partner Up!

Students will partner with another Student,
while Professionals will partner with another Professional.

Sign up your team at the Conference Registration Table when you check-in for the conference.
When you register, you will receive one raffle ticket.

If you didn’t register at Conference check-in,
register your team at the registration table at the event.

After the tournament bracket is created,
listen for your names being called up to play next.

The bracket will be displayed on the projector
at the event and will be updated as results come in.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The 2026 Great Plains Waste Management Conference is quickly approaching. Once again, the Great Plains Conference committee is planning on an evening Icebreaker. Following the NWEA presentations on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, there will be a hosted Icebreaker from 5:00–7:00 p.m. This event is designed to allow participants of the conference to network in a casual atmosphere. 

RETURNING THIS YEAR!  Students from UNO and UNL will be encouraged to attend the Social Hour to network with professionals currently working in the Nebraska water industry.  The event will have networking tables for professionals to meet students.  Professionals may choose to offer free swag or other informational handouts about their company at their respective table.  Concurrently, several corn hole (aka “bags”) games will be held for the students to interact with professionals in a fun way.  We hope to have a 1:1 ratio between tables and corn hole games.  On that account, each company should try to provide at minimum (3) professionals to attend this event (one for the networking table and two to play corn hole against the students).  To maximize interactivity, corn hole games will be decided by first to 8 or more points.

To defray a portion of the cost for the conference, we are offering five levels of sponsorship this year. We do encourage our sponsors to sign up and attend the conference, however conference registration is not necessary for sponsorship and attendance at the Icebreaker. Please note that none of the levels below include conference registration, nor does it include drink tickets at the Icebreaker event. Two drink tickets will be provided to each conference registrant.

SPONSORSHIP OPTIONS

Conference Sponsorship: $400.00

Your company name and logo will be shown in/outside of the Ice Breaker and luncheon. Also shown in the PowerPoint presentation before the Keynote Presentation.

Break Sponsorship: $600.00
(Maximum of 4. Two on Wednesday and two on Thursday)

(Flat Rate for Each of the Days - 6 Total)

In addition to the benefits included in the Conference Sponsorship level, you will have Individual Signage with Name and Logo and on the conference flyers, at the Expo Pass registration stations, and with the WIFI access information.  The Technology Sponsorship is limited to a total of 6 sponsors on a first come, first serve basis.

Registration Table Sponsors:  $600.00
(Maximum of 2 available)

In addition to the benefits included in the Conference Sponsorship level, you will have Individual Signage with Name and Logo displayed at the registration table for both days of the conference. The Registration Table Sponsorship is limited to a total of 2 sponsors on a first come, first serve basis.

Women in Water Luncheon Sponsors:  $600.00
(Maximum of 2 available)
