Awards

The Scott Wilber Award Committee of the Nebraska Water Environment Association (NWEA)  recognizes wastewater treatment facilities across the state for outstanding facility maintenance, performance, personnel training, community involvement and overall condition of their facility.  The facilities are categorized whether they served an industrial process or a municipality. The municipal facilities are then grouped into categories determined by their daily average flows. Small facilities were under 2 million gallons per day (MGD), medium facilities were 2-5 MGD, and the large facilities were over 5 MG. Within each category, a Best-in-Class Facility is also presented.
